BSP’s ATMs total 210

THE number of automatic teller machines (ATMs) installed by Bank South Pacific nation-wide has increased to 210.
The latest were installations of two ATMs in Kundiawa recently, bringing the total number in the town to five.
Kundiawa town also served as the major business and centre of commerce for the nearby proposed Jiwaka pro­vince.
Kundiawa BSP branch manager Albert Burua said using an ATM was cheaper than walking into a branch and queuing up for service.
He said other services available through the ATM included cash withdrawals, balance enquiry, mobile phone top-ups, obtaining mini-statements and changing PIN numbers.
Police Inspector Moses Maglua, who witnessed the launch of the two new ATMs, thanked BSP for increasing the service to customers and applauded the bank’s community initiatives.
