A SCHOOL in the nation’s capital has been provided an audio visual classroom  through the Bank South Pacific’s community projects programme.

Students at the Bavaroko Primary School, one of the oldest in NCD, witnessed the opening of their new classroom last Friday.

The project was completed by the BSP Port Moresby branch over four weeks through its community projects programme.

BSP chief financial officer Johnson Kalo reminded the students of the importance of learning.

“This project was chosen as BSP believes in providing every opportunity for you, our future leaders to be able to learn as much as you can, with the right facilities in place,” he said.

“The renovated classroom will go a long way in achieving this by providing a comfortable learning environment for students who will be utilising this TV learning classroom.

“You must also understand that you as students have a duty to look after this facility for future students of Bavaroko.”

The project was part of a community project delivered by BSP branches nationwide. It planned to deliver 33 more community projects under this programme this year, Kalo said.
