THE Mt Hagen Show committee has received K20,000 from Bank South Pacific Ltd (BSP) this week for the staging of its 60th edition on Aug 17-18.
The bank raised its hand to support the cultural event in recognising and promoting the country’s unique culture, small businesses and supporting economic development through tourism.
BSP Mt Hagen’s deputy branch manager John Tomba Jr said: “Our contributions to such cultural and tourism events, ensured such shows are sustained”.
“So our cultures and traditions are important but we’ll take this opportunity help showcase our PNG people and our products.
“Our BSP staff will be available at the show, to assist with customer enquiries and account opening.”
