Buang hosts three-day bible study

Faith

Buang local level government in Morobe, recently hosted a three-day bible study for students from ward four as a dedication service before they start the 2024 academic year.
Person-in-charge, Matangi Babun, when leading the study, advised the students to reconcile with their families and relatives and abide by God’s word and also to distance themselves from old habits.
“This was what Abraham did and God blessed him abundantly, and so we must do the same, if we want to see what blessings are in store for us this academic year,” Babun said.
“But, Abraham did not just get up and leave, he actually followed all the instructions that were given to him.
“So, God made him the father of many descendants.”
Putting it in the scenario of Abraham, Babun told the students that they could make changes to their path by choosing the right way to be successful in education.
“You are the ambassadors of your village in the various schools that you will be attending this year,” he said.
“Parents must also reconcile with their students in order for them to excel both in academic and spiritual, and that will reflect the type of home children are raised in.”
