Build casino later, not now

Letters

PAPUA New Guinea will not have a casino as yet.
We got Independence when we were not ready.
That is why we have to blame our forefathers for what is happening today in the country.
People’s mindsets have not developed and our fathers got Independence too soon.
We should not have a casino until 50 or 100 years later.
We have enough of problems that we can’t fix them so we do not need more problems with a casino.
There is no need for awareness because we do not know how to address issues relating to gambling and casinos.
Can our leaders think of something else that will help the people?
I think much more needs to be done for this country.
