PRIMARY school students in Watut local level government area of Bulolo, Morobe, have been urged to appreciate and respect million-kina investments by landowner company Sai Business Group.
Pararoa Primary School deputy head teacher Aveo Barnabas said Sai was a local company that not only paid dividends, but also provided employment, roads, health and education.
He was unhappy to see students and youths damaging and burning a brand-new K400,000 Hino truck at Yawawa Bridge on Thursday their dividends claim.
“The current generation must appreciate and embrace the existence and revival of Sai Business Group,” he said.
“We must thank our forefathers, who knew nothing about reading and writing but initiated the pillar of Sai-Watut people’s future.
“This is currently the second biggest shareholder of Mainland Holdings Ltd.”
Kapao LLG president Jackty Yotipo, while congratulating the Sai board, urged it to listen to the shareholders.
“People must respect and embrace the assets of Sai Business Group because it is our future,” he said.
“Consider education scholarships, health and education facilities, roads and pay dividends to shareholders.”
