Office of Urbanisation and the Coastal Fisheries Development Agency (CFDA) are now abolished, according to a National Executive Council decision.
As part of the Government’s public sector reform agenda aimed at removing duplication of functions and improving service delivery, the offices were now abolished.
Acting Secretary of the Department of Personnel Management Taies Sansan said all human resource matters concerning the two agencies would be dealt with by her department.
Sansan said employees and other interested parties who had outstanding matters with CFDA could consult the National Fisheries Authority.
