Cabinet reshuffle claims fake, says O’Neill

Prime Minister Peter O’Neill has denied claims that there has been a Cabinet reshuffle.
O’Neil told The National that reports and information being circulated on social media was all “rubbish”.
The report, allegedly released by sources within the Government, claimed that Bulolo MP
Sam Basil, pictured, was the new deputy prime minister.
It was also claimed that ministerial portfolios had been changed.
Basil is currently Minister for Communications, Information Technology and Energy.
O’Neill said all the reports were “fake and made up”.
Deputy Prime Minister and Treasurer Charles Abel also denied the report.
Abel, who is the Member for Alotau Open, said he was still the deputy prime minister.
