Capital union defer final round games

The Capital Rugby Union administration has opted to defer the third and final round of the Hiri Cup Challenge until after the CRU grand final and instead will go ahead with the round 11 washed out matches this week.
These matches were deferred due to changes to polling dates by the PNG Electoral Commission for voters in the National Capital District.
As the competition gets closer to the business end, all games are turning out to be high intensity contests with teams wanting to stake their claims for a top four finish.
Tomorrow, the premier grade game in the washed out round will be the clash between competition leaders Harlequins and second-placeed University at 3pm.
Harlequins have been the pace-setters this season playing an attacking style of rugby that most team have not been able to match.
Harlies face a Piggies side who boast an experienced and powerful forward pack and a pacey backline.
The Piggies will certainly test the premiership credentials of the Harlies, as they take the battle to their opponents up front and down middle of the field.
In tomorrow’s other premier grade match, Bothers take Valley Hunters and on Sunday, Nova face Crusaders while Wanderers clash with the Juggernauts in the other fixture.
