City cricket into finals

THE Port Moresby Cricket Association junior grades: the mixed Under-11, U13 and U18 (men) head into their finals this weekend.
Wanderers won the U13 minor premiership while United Maroon claimed the U11 minor title.
The U18 finals will feature Wanderers booking the first spot in the grand final which is scheduled for 2pm on Monday at Amini Park.
Lakwaharu have a second chance as they take on Pari who beat Poreporena and United.
The qualifying final is on Sunday.
The women’s grade also begin their finals this weekend with Coasters taking out the minor premiership. Poreporena finished third with Hoods (4th) and Raukele (5th) rounding off the top five.
The women’s frand final is scheduled for Sat, Aug 5 while the premier men’s final is on Sat, Aug 12.
