Case of man charged with rape adjourned

A MAN charged with raping a minor had his case adjourned on Friday by the Waigani Committal Court Magistrate Tracy Ganaii.
The 37-year-old from Grompau village in Mul-Baiyer, Western Highlands, allegedly raped a child (name withheld) under the age of 12 years.
It was alleged that on Jan 21, 2020, between 5.45pm and 6pm the victim was in a house when the accused approached her.
He then kicked her and told her to go into a room.
The accused then allegedly raped the girl.
