THE Central Province Premier League resumes its regular competition games at the PNG Defence Force Murray Barracks Oval on Saturday.
CPPL chairman Jack Kedea said that due to the Apec summit in Port Moresby in October completion of the season was a priority.
“The Apec summit will affect our programme so we complete the season as soon as we can,” Kedea said.
“We’re going to double up our remaining matches in round two to complete the regular season.
“Our competition has provided an avenue for a lot of talent from Central and that’s really what we want to do.”
