Certificate for pet lover

 A CERTIFICATE of appreciation was presented to TST chairman Barry Tan by the PNG Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA) vice-president Anne Ames.

Ames presented the certificate at Tan’s home surrounded by his seven cross-bred dogs, which clearly indicated his love for animals.

The RSPCA is a charitable organisation that carries out its operations through support from business houses and individuals.

Tan and his family have donated generously over the years, helping the society with items such as surgical equipment, pet food and accessories.

Tan said he had been involved with the RSPCA with his parents for as long as he could remember.
