Chamber aims to foster good relationship with new govt

PORT Moresby Chamber of Commerce and Industry president Rio Fiocco says the chamber aims to have a good working relationship with the incoming National Capital District (NCD) government after the election.
Fiocco said the chamber had good dialogue with the current government.
He said the current government had handled the Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic as well as listened to business concerns and interests which they hoped to see continue.
“The chamber of commerce has had good dialogues with the current government so we would hope that relationships continue so we could all work together to improve and peoples living in the city,” Fiocco said.
“The current administration has done a very good job in managing the situation throughout the Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic.
“Overall, it has done a very good job and worked closely with business houses and listened to our interests and concerns and we are pleased with the working relationships and we would like to see that continue after the elections.”
