Change police recruitment style

I COMMEND the Police Minister Bryan Kramer and his team for the good effort in this critical time our parliamentarians are going through.
I commend them for the work they’ve been doing throughout the nation.
I am concerned about the recruitment of policemen and women.
I suggest the current police recruitment style be done away with.
The police should have an academy where students and interested candidates can apply to be enrolled.
By doing so, we increase our grade 12 students’ opportunities to study instead of focusing only on universities and colleges.
