WE have voted for our Moresby South MP Justin Tkatchenko, now Minister for Housing and Urbanisation, through an absolute majority during the (2017) election.
During the election he was around talking to people and when he won the election he has been missing in action since then.
When we go to make an appointment to see him (during his term of Lands and Physical Planning Minister) at Waigani Eda Tano office, all you hear from the counter is “He is busy come back tomorrow” or “next week”.
When you go the next day or the other week you will still hear from counter say that he is busy come back tomorrow or next week.
The appointed district administrator is also missing in action.
His home at Toaguba Hill is always packed with people and it’s a struggle to deliver our request.
The reason for people going to him at his premises is because the district administrators do not have time to see the people of Moresby South and also he is never to be found at Koki electorate office to serve the people.
To our mandated Moresby South MP, stop being a political house cleaner for a while and check your back yard.
It is only two years away and you will be coming back to communities to get number for the next election.
Most people in the Moresby South have known already what is happening and this time they will be not voting from their stomach but from their brain.
