Chuave project needs developer

Letters

THE mandated leader from the 48 candidates contesting the Chuave open seat must focus on factors affecting socio-economic development in the district, and get a most reputable developer to develop Elimbari Limestone Project immediately.
We believe that a visionary credible leader will work really hard and move our district forward in terms of socio-economic developments.
Since Independence in 1975, no economic development can we show to date that generates income for our district.
We are truly behind other districts in Papua New Guinea in terms of economic growth and improved living standard.
One of the highly rated Elimbari limestone projects in terms of lime quality in the Southern Hemisphere is still standing idle though many government attempts have been made to get the project off the ground.
Therefore, Chuave people are urged to wisely choose a quality leader come polling day.
