Church builds toilets for Oro community

TOILETS may not sound important but ask those households and communities that do not have one just how hard it gets.
The Augasusu community in Northern are having six toilets built by the Popondetta Town Adventist church and just a relief for them.
SDA community service representative Tonny Lahari said they had seen the need for toilets there and selected three communities around the church to build six toilets in.
“Two are under construction,” Lahari said.
“The work is in progress and when they complete the first two they will start the second two at another community.”
Lahari thanked the Adventist Development and Relief Agency for funding the project.
Apart from the toilet project, the church has taken a step forward to improve the livelihood of the people in the community by offering them a chicken project to make a living from.
