Church gives to City Mission

Methodist Church in Papua New Guinea gave foods, tools and clothes worth of K24,830 to City Mission in Central last week.
Lay leader Steven Yii told The National that the donations were addressing social issues which were very important in the faith and ministry throughout the world.
The presentation was made in Mirigeda City Mission Farm in Central.
“We want to express the love of God,” Yii said.
“We give out the gifts to let them know that God loves them and is part of the community.
“Methodist Church started giving the donations of food and tools since 2013.
“This is the sixth consecutive year we are giving to City Mission.
“We are glad that we are able to give. We also commend City Mission for feeding and training so many youths.”
City Mission chairman Bruce Avenell thanked the Methodist Church for the continuous support and donations.
