Church prepares for two-week seminar

 THE Waigani Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Port Moresby will host a two-week seminar on the book of Revelation from Sunday.

The seminar will be on the theme “Prophecy Speaks in Our Time” and will run until June 7 at the Carr Memorial Adventist School grounds in Waigani.

The guest speaker will be evangelist and former president of the Central Papua Conference, Pr Tony Kemo. 

Some of the topics include “Overview of Daniel, Future Foretold in Advance, Little Horn Attacks, 144,000 with the Lamb, Fall of Babylon and Abundant Life for Eternity.”

There will be presentations of health messages and free medical checks by the church’s medical team.  

Pastor Barney Jack said there was an interesting connection with the books of Daniel and Revelation and this would be studied during the meeting.

“The Book of Daniel, which is mainly seen as the history of God’s people on how God led them in the past, has an important connection with the Book of Revelation which speaks of how God will lead his people through trials and tribulations to the end of this world and his coming to take his people home to be with him forever,” Jack said.

He encouraged the neighbourhood in Ensisi Valley and Waigani Heights to attend the programme.
