CIC has big task

THE Coffee Industry Corporation (CIC) has a huge task of containing the Coffee Berry Borer (CBB) epidemic.
Coffee production in the Highlands region will collapse if the CIC fails to control whatever coffee-producing areas which are affected.
Down memory lane, the Coffee Rust of the 1980s contributed hugely to the demise of many coffee plantations.
The CIC needs to educate coffee growers in the pros and cons of cultivating coffee at the first place.
It is too late to campaign too late to assist growers now.
We might as well uproot all coffee trees and start planting other cash crops.
Where is the Government funding?
I really do want the CBB to destroy my one-hectare plot.
