Negligence caused bridge to fall

THIS needs to come out in relation to the fallen Banab Bridge in Madang.
It was at around 8pm on that day that the bridge collapsed.
My family and I had just finished seeking treatment at Modilon General Hospital and were returning home.
We drove past the semi-trailer that was carrying the excavator, with its escort vehicles, at Smugglers Inn.
They were travelling at a very high speed.
People from Bogia, Karkar and Manam will face hardships in transporting their produce to Madang Town because of the fallen bridge.
Madang Governor Peter Yama: Please intervene and hold the company transporting the excavator responsible.
Also include the escort company.
It is through negligence that the bridge collapsed.
