TOTI City are set to run their full strength team tomorrow against the Besta PNG United in their round 13 NSL fixture in Lae.
The Morobe capital will enjoy a feast of football with the scheduled triple-header at the Sir Ignatius Kilage Stadium.
Last week the defending champions were held to a 1-1 draw by the Southern Strikers in Port Moresby.
City coach Peter Gunemba described last weekend games as “not on target” with Raymond Gunemba, Jacob Sabua, Obert Bika and Clement Willies the only first choice players to play.
“Last week we wanted to try out our juniors but we’ll have our full strength side to play Besta tomorrow,” Gunemba said.
“Besta are talented and skilful and we’re not taking them lightly,” Gunemba, who has brought back Nigel Dabinyaba, Valentine Nelson, Mosie Milubwa and goal-keeper Ronald Warisan for the match, said.
He said the match-up with Besta is crucial for them as they head into the last rounds of the NSL leading up to the finals. Besta on the other hand are coming off a 4-1 victory over Buang FC and will provide another stern test for the defending permiers. Fixtures: Sat, April 21 – Toti City v Besta PNG United, Madang v Morobe Wawens, Buang v Momase.
