Clean up PNGDF recruitment office

I CALL on the Defence Minister Saki Soloma and PNG Defence Force Commander Maj-Gen Gilbert Toropo to clean the mess in the defence force recruitment office at Murray Barracks, Port Moresby.
The recruitment office is a birth place of alleged bribery and corruption.
Bribery is illegal and punishable according but in the recruitment office, bribery is widespread across all levels. In the past 10 years, legitimate recruitment process have been changed.
High level personnel the recruitment office are allegedly corrupt because they accept bribes to make way for certain individuals to make a clean entry into training field without going through proper processes.
The recruitment office is a public office.
Transparency and accountability should be restored in that office.
Who is going to stand up against bribery and corruption?
We will never progress until we unite and stand against bribery and corruption.
