Coasters post easy win over Kempa in city T20

COASTERS, Poreporena and United had very comfortable victories in the ITI Port Moresby Cricket Association (POMCA) premier division over the weekend.
Micah Pokana (66) and Simon Atai (52 not out) guided Coasters to an impressive eight-wicket win over Kempa.
Batting first, Kempa scored 144/8 from their allotted 20 overs with Vali Albert (46) top-scoring for Kempa, while Kabua Vagi Morea continued his great form with the ball taking 3-17.
In reply, Coasters chased down the total in 16.2 overs, losing just two wickets.
Poreporena chased down Raukele’s score of 126/8 inside 15 overs, losing just four wicket son the way. Retired Hebou PNG Barramundis player, Vani Vagi Morea was the star in the chase, scoring a quick-fire 57 runs. In the final premier match, United thumped Hoods by nine wickets.
Batting first, Hoods were bowled out for 72 runs in 16.2 overs with international all-rounder Mahuru Dai taking 3-16 with the ball for United.
In reply, Lega Siaka’s unbeaten 64 helped United chase down the low target in less than nine overs.
