Buka league names sides for rep team

THE Buka Rugby League has adopted its own origin series with a City versus Country match on Saturday to select training squads for their bid to have a Digicel Cup team next year.
BRL president Avis Vanua and his board made the announcement recently while naming two teams to compete for places in the provincial franchise.
“We’ve invited Papua New Guinea Rugby Football League chairman Sandis Tsaka and PNG National Rugby League competition manager Stanley Hondina to witness our series and also to inspect our home ground,” Vanua said.
“This is part of the rehabilitation process and referendum on the island of Bougainville to bring peace and harmony to the community to involve sports.
