Coffee rehab work eyed

Letters

GOROKA MP Henry Ame’s coffee rehabilitation programme should be off the ground by now in planning and rolling out the mechanisms.
Consistent with Vision 2050 and UN Millennium Development aspirations, this project is a fundamental catalyst for enhanced and tangible agriculture sector development in Goroka and Eastern Highlands.
This project is aimed at providing comprehensive economic sustainable solution.
The foremost intention is to improve institutional capacity.
This is in order to maximise and enhance sustainable deliveries by means of creating agricultural delivery modes . The MP’s coffee rehabilitation development project is consistent with both Eastern Highlands’ and national development plans.
It is anticipated that such an endeavor should boost provincial performance to better impact on the lives of the people of Goroka.
In the context of medium-to-long-term socio-economic development, the project should help in terms of improved quality of life and poverty reductionand alleviation.
