Travel date
The earliest that overseas travel will be back to normal is around the middle of next year, according to Qantas chief executive officer Alan Joyce. And a survey of Australians shows that most will want to go for a holiday in New Zealand. No Pacific islands yet.
Prayer day
Tomorrow is a public holiday – Repentance Day. It is supposed to be a day of prayer, the repentance of past wrongs. But the rate some of us are sinning, we may need more than just one day of prayer.

By the way, do we really need a public holiday as a national prayer day? For Christians, every day should be a prayer day. Repentance is a personal resolve.
