Olam a star
Justin Olam (and his Melbourne Storm team) may have missed out on the record 20th consecutive NRL win but he remains the favourite to win the 2021 Dally M award for best center. A big feat indeed.
Bus stop
Maybe City Hall is not aware that the men it assigned to keep the bus stops clean around the city have been demanding cash from those wanting to sit there to wait for buses. It’s so unfair. Since when does one have to pay to use a bus stop?
Road sign
They should put up this sign on some of our roads, considering the way some people drive, and the road condition.
Fake promises
Many have not forgotten the promises made on the campaign trail in 2017 intended to brainwash the voters. It seems like only yesterday.
An excuse
And some MPs will inevitably be using the Covid-19 pandemic as an excuse for the lack of development projects in their electorates. Yes, pull the other one.
PNG merchandise
Two weeks away from Independence Day and those PNG merchandise – meri blouses, caps, masks, scarfs – are already out on sale on the streets. Never an opportunity to be missed.
Food for thought
The struggles we endure today will be the “good old days” we will laugh about tomorrow. Don’t give up!
Top quote
“The people of PNG do not need to know the details of the (Marape-led government) plans. The people only need the outcomes of plans delivered. We are seeing too much of plans been launched by this prime minister and too little of the plans actually bearing tangible results.” – Opposition Leader Belden Namah.
