Trading horses
The horse-trading season is here, political lobbying is intensifying as MPs jostle for safe secure spots for the sake of their voters. Politics indeed do make strange bedfellows.

Best interest
From a political observer: It would be ideal and will serve the people’s best interest if the governor and all district MPs pull together (read: from the same party) rather than pull apart (different political leanings).
Real figure
So our population, according to Administrative Services Minister Richard Masere, is around 11 million “but could be more”. Somewhere between Australia (26 mil) and NZ (5mil).
Broncos’ camp
Tevita Pangai Jr is reportedly back in the Broncos camp, as captain Adam Reynolds is again plagued by injury even before the season has started.
Tax cuts
Strong vibes from across the pond on a comprehensive new income tax cut plan announced yesterday by PM Albanese to apply to all Australian taxpayers. PNG should follow suit.
Food for thought
You do not know what tomorrow will bring. So do not stay mad for too long. Learn to forgive and move on. Do not worry about those who hate you. Enjoy the ones who love you.
Top quote
“My primary role is to deliver our national census. The last census was in 2011 and even that had questions raised about it.” – Administrative Services Minister Richard Masere
