English girls
A group of English girls have arrived in the highlands region to play rugby league. Please show them the special highlands hospitality. Remember they represent Missy Kwin. And we hope they will have a better result than their men’s rugby union team in Japan last week who took off their medals after finishing second.
Unwanted friends
A colleague had about 50 friend requests pending on his Facebook account. He received this reminder from the Facebook help team: “We noticed you have several pending friend requests. If you don’t want to accept a friend request, you can delete it. Don’t worry, we won’t let them know their request was deleted. And they won’t be able to send you a friend request for one year.” All were deleted. So convenient.
Leave fare
The leave fare issue for teachers keeps cropping at the end of each academic year. Someone has obviously been sleeping on the job for too long.
Hard times
Times are hard and tempers can boil over at an instant. Even the usually friendly bus drivers and crew were having a free boxing exhibition. The silly season is here and Christmas is near.
Thought for today
Don’t do things to be noticed or praised. Do things simply because they are the right things to do.
