Committee to manage all Games venues

 THE government will be putting in place a committee to oversee the management of all sporting venues and infrastructure during and after the 2015 Pacific Games.

A Legacy Steering committee will be set up to manage all infrastructure and sporting venues after the 2015 Games. Terms of reference for the setting up of the committee will be taken before the Pacific Games Authority for approval. 

With preparations for the setting up of the committee, the immediate task is for the engagement of a facilities manager to coordinate legacy plans of the venues that are being constructed and refurbished.

Key components of the legacy plan will involve business planning, facility use and management.
