THE Port Moresby Rugby League competition concludes the first half of their season this weekend with PRL operations manager Meke Maino saying the season had run smoothly so far.
“We will give time off to the A grade teams next weekend but for the Under-20s and women’s division and one of two A grade teams still have washout games to be completed,” Maino said.
“During the break we will run the washout games, which are needed to be completed on the break weekends. “We are hoping to complete this season on time as well as the first round games speaks for itself.
“Thankfully, we are running the games as scheduled,” he added.
He said PRL would have the Kone Storm-Souths game to be the curtain raiser for the NCDC Port Moresby Vipers and Bintagor Goroka Lahanis Digicel Cup round 9 clash at the Oil Search National Football Stadium on Sunday.
“That is the only big thing for PRL happening this weekend, otherwise, it’s business as usual with PRL week 13 games starting today.”
