Competitions attract players

TOUCH and volleyball competitions in Mt Hagen Urban’s ward eight are attracting Digicel Cup players, according to an official.
Competition official Paul Dafax hailed the elite players for returning to their communities to pass on their knowledge.
Dafax said Wamp Nga Mt Hagen Eagles pair Israel Balio and Raven Johnna were playing with TK.
He said Mioks captain Kot Kerowa and Eagles’ Micha Pia were playing with Jamaica while former SP Hunter David Lapua was playing with Haco Spiders.
He said their involvement would boost the morale of young players.
Dafax said the young players were learning a lot from them.
“We are happy to see these players coming back to impart their skills and knowledge,” he said.
