Control noise in Port Moresby

Letters

SOMETIME back, former National Capital District Met Supt Perou N’dranou said people could be charged for partying loudly and disturbing the peace in a neighbourhood.
All we have to do is call the hotline 1800100 if neighbours are playing loud music or being noisy.
Most people don’t respect their neighbours.
Home is where people rest and it should be quiet.
Unfortunately, some neighbours think they are kings and queens and force everyone to stay up all night listening to their music.
They really need to get their eardrums checked.
Noise pollution is a problem in the city’s suburbs and settlements.
While some of us put up with drunkards, others have to endure the live band and preaching from nearby churches.
