Control noise pollution

Letters

CAN the National Capital District Commission (NCDC) please enforce some standards on loud hailers in public places?
Music, preachers and announcers do not need to have their audio up at 1000 decibels.
People 100 metres away should not have to put up with excessive noise.
You cannot even hear the person next to you at some places.
Shopping centre car parks, Tabari Place, Turumu Street wholesaler – whole day someone is yelling or shouting into a microphone at top sound levels.
Can they please restrict it?
Please just turn it down a notch or two.
