NATIONAL Pandemic Response Controller David Manning has reminded Papua New Guineans to remain ever more vigilant of the Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic threat during the 2022 general election.
Commenting on the gross negligence of Covid-19 public health protocols following the start of nominations on Thursday, Manning said warnings had been issued to the people to take heed of the public health threat.
“Be vigilant when moving around during the election period. It is better to minimise (your) movement.
“If you do show symptoms, do the responsible thing and the right thing, that is to seek medical attention and stay at home until you get better. The last thing you would want to do is to pass Covid-19 to others,” he added.
