Country lost two education heros

Letters

AS our nation is struggling and taking years to build doctors and professors of knowledge and education, sadly, the University of Goroka has lost two prominent academics, Dr John Baptist Kiruhia and Dr James Aiwa.
They are not only doctors of philosophy (PhD) in education but prominent leaders in nation building and fathers of education, their communities and families.
Their tireless commitments and resources have helped brought our country this far.
They have spent their entire professional lives mentoring young leaders and professionals.
The nation will take another 20 to 30 years to build such intellects again but their legacies and knowledge created in educational institutions will remain.
We salute you for the tireless hard work and contributions.
We will miss you.
Sincere condolences to your immediate families and friends.
