THE case of Dave Benjamin Gau, charged with the murder of his two sons aged two and five in Morata, Port Moresby on April 27, will return to court on Oct 4.
Waigani Committal Court Magistrate Paul Nii fixed the date with Police Prosecutor Sgt Joseph Sangam who stood in for prosecutor in carriage Snr Const Regina Kilip.
Magistrate Nii told Sgt Sangam to inform Snr Const Kilip to come to court and progress the matter.
“The allegation is serious; this is not the only time Snr Const Kilip has not been in court,” he said.
“If she wants to go and attend to other obligations, then the file must be dedicated to those prosecutors who are coming to court.
“Justice must be done in a timely manner.”
Gau, 29, from Wosera-Gawi’s Tigawi Niaura village, East Sepik, was remanded.
He is alleged to have stabbed Shane and Ethan to death when his wife stepped out of the house after an argument.
