Court orders former university staff to remain on property

THE National Court has restrained the University of Goroka Council from evicting former Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Academic and Research, Dr Teng Waninga from his institutional house. Justice David Cannings yesterday granted the only relief from the notice of motion filed on April 20 under special circumstances after all parties to the matter agreed that it was necessary for Waninga to remain at the institutional house pending determination of his leave application.
