A COURT has ordered that no further investigation will be carried out against suspended secretary of Community Development Joseph Klapat pending the substantive hearing of the matter.
Klapat is challenging a government decision to remove him from the post and be replaced by Anna Solomon.
The national court last week ruled that Klapat be reinstated in the position pending the substantive hearing on his case.
It also ordered that Solomon should not take up the position as acting secretary of the department.
The government and Solomon made an application last week to stay that order.
But Manuhu ruled that hearing of the applications should await the outcome of a court case before Justice Catherine Devani.
The case is on the position of police commissioner.
The reserved hearing is set for Feb 16.
