Courts to hear urgent cases only until Feb

REGISTRAR of Supreme and National courts Ian Augerea says only urgent cases will be heard between now and February.
The courts are on a break until Jan 31, he said.
The registry would be open from 9am to 10am and 1.30pm to 2.30pm during the holidays.
According to the registry office, certain judges would be available through the vacation period as determined by the chief justice to hear urgent matters arranged through the office of the registrar or local assistant registrar in provinces.
Meanwhile, the public were urged to make their enquiries at the office of the registrar in the first instance.
