Covid-19 spreading in communities

CORONAVIRUS (Covid-19) transmission is ongoing in the community despite the risk being low throughout the country, according to a situational report released by the National Control Centre (NCC) last week.
The report showed that six new Covid-19 cases were recorded last Wednesday, bringing the total cumulative in the country to 44,675.
There were 13 newly-diagnosed cases over seven days until Thursday, with 43,983 recoveries.
Of these cases, there were cumulative of 741 Delta cases and a total of 508 Omicron cases.
