CITY Pharmacy Ltd has introduced the Darling hair extension range for Mother’s Day on Sunday.
A local hair stylist and owner of Lavi’s Braids, Lavinia Korak, said there was a demand for crochet hair in the market but after the excitement settled, not a lot of people knew how to take care of synthetic hair.
Korak is from Enga and her shop Lavi’s Braids is located at the Unity Mall, former Pacifika Women’s Network at Steamships compound, Waigani, Port Moresby.
According to a statement from City Pharmacy, the variety of hair extension products sold at CPL stores nationwide starts from the economic variety to premium quality such as the crochet.
“Extensions can last six weeks if proper home care with warm water, baby oil and lemons can cleanse and leave a sheen,” Korak said.
“It is recommended to do a warm water cleanse twice weekly, beginning and ending of the week.”
City Pharmacy said customers looking at purchasing the crochet hair extensions and hair care products could do so at any of the CPL outlets nationwide.
