Crossing the floor

Letters

I REMIND all our elected members of Parliament to make their decisions in the best interest of their voters, district, province and the country.
If you are used as a tool or to just make up the numbers in the Government so you can attracted DSIP or PSIP funding then you have failed as a leader and should vacate your seat.
A leader is a fighter for the rights of his or her people and does not shut up until the cows come home. Our parliamentary democracy is a joke.
DSIP funding is an unqualified appropriation sanctioned by the Budgetary Bill passed by Parliament and no one has the right, even the Treasurer or Finance Minister or civil servants, to hold back funds in any order of priority.
The stream of defections of Opposition MPs to the Government side should never happen and they raise questions about the leadership qualities of those who have defected.
