Darts association looking at home-and-away competition for Morobe

A home-AND-AWAY competition for darts will be introduced to associations in Morobe, says an official.
Huon Darts Association president Nigel Kiaka said the move would cater for the many associations in the province. “This initiative will run alongside their (associations) normal season competition but will have its own finals and presentation at the end of the season,” Kiaka said in statement.
“The initiative will involve a couple of selected teams per association. The teams will go in a draw and play during the regular competition days.
“The selected teams from each association may change from week to week but they must only include players from one association.
“The aim of the initiative is so that each association is able to identify its best players or teams once it comes to association representation.
“All dart associations in Morobe will be sent an invitation and they will be included in a Morobe home-and-away competition.”
