Datec, Eda Ranu sign contract

DATEC PNG Ltd  recently signed a contract with Eda Ranu to implement Oracle ERP Financials on which Eda Ranu’s future business management and operations will be delivered upon.
Datec chief executive officer Bhanu Sud said the Oracle ERP Financials programme was suitably designed to assist Eda Ranu with its business.
Sud said with the programme, the water agency would  be able to improve its forecast accuracy, increase visibility into customer demand and manage its inventory more effectively.
Eda Ranu chairman Emos Michael said the programme offered by Datec was suitable for their operations because they needed to improve the efficiency of their internal processes such as distribution, purchasing, inventory control, order entry processes.
The programme would also enable the company to integrate its current billing system (Waris 2) and provide timely and efficient reporting to their shareholders.
Eda Ranu has performed well last year and with this new management tool it will further enhance its progress.
Michael said the new management tool met  Eda Ranu’s requirements.
