Decision to adjourn parliament selfish

Letters

POLITICAL stunts in a parliamentary democracy should be in line with people’s interests under any given situation in order to win public confidence.
Any ruling party should do so if it wishes to remain in power.
The recent adjournment of parliament to August and not July will come back and haunt the Government.
The Government’s move was selfish.
It is clearly their move to avoid a motion of no confidence.
