Maj-Gen Toropo said that after five soldiers were detained at the Kiunga police station for allegedly destroying a roadside market.
“They have committed an offence under our (PNG) laws and they will have to defend themselves,” he said.

  • Lets get this straight. Discipline is and has always been an on-going issue with our so called disciplinary forces. Please have them be dealt with under the military discipline code as well as the civil courts. Have been in and out of Kiunga and have observed FOB to be a social camp without discipline. Investigation must get to the roots and bring back public confidence and discipline to the force!
