THE Port Moresby Soccer Association will this weekend be playing its washed out matches from round three of the competition which were interrupted by continuous rain in late June.
An unexpected change in weather conditions which cancelled washout matches from last Sunday are scheduled to continue this weekend.
Competition organisers have scheduled washout matches for the Under-18s, Under-18 division one, men’s division two and men’s premier.
Round 10 continues for Southern club champions Mungkas who face Momase in the men’s premier match tomorrow.
An average season so far from Momase and Mungkas will see both sides to to claim victory.
Later on Saturday, a gutsy Genesis outfit will be out in full force with Numa Kila and skipper Roniel Igens leading the charge against Maclaren. Sunday’s washout matches will feature frontrunners PS Rutz take on third-placed Seeadler.
PS Rutz’s Stanley Tumun will be looking for more goal opportunities against a powerhouse Seeadler led by Steven Chandrol.
Cosmos take on division newcomers Leilam while University go up against Keleiruna later in the afternoon.
Cosmos, who sit at the bottom of ladder, are likely to face an uphill battle against a quality Leilam side.
Meanwhile University will rely on the Komolong brothers (Alvin and Felix) to beat Keleiruna.
